As a Swallows Oast wedding photographer, this beautiful and characterful venue in the heart of the East Sussex countryside offers an incredible variety of photographic opportunities. The historic twin-kiln Oast provides a striking backdrop, while the surrounding grounds offer everything from open countryside views to woodland, oak trees and a tranquil lakeside setting.
The venue offers beautiful outdoor ceremony locations, including the woodland enclave, beneath the oak trees, beside the lake and at the pavilion — giving every wedding a wonderful variety of natural backdrops. As the light softens later in the day, the open views and peaceful grounds are particularly well suited to atmospheric golden-hour wedding photography.
We first met Madeleine to discuss our wedding with her. She showed us her portfolio and talked us through everything we needed to know. Madeleine is so lovely and very professional so we felt in safe hands.
